The Day of Caring is an annual United Way event that brings together people from across our community to give back to their community through volunteering. People from all walks of life-employees from local businesses and government, young adults, retirees, or anyone with a day to spare- is encouraged to get involved.
Many local employers give their staff the opportunity to spend a workday engaging in meaningful projects at United Way partner agencies to see, first hand, how United Way dollars are invested in making positive changes in our community. Businesses benefit from increased sales and marketing opportunities and are positioned as a corporate good neighbor
Volunteers experience the needs of the community and feel the satisfaction that comes with making a difference. Our community is vitalized as volunteers mobilize to improve the quality of life in our area.
