Supporting basic needs is a foundation of our work. We provide grants for shelter, rent and utilities, food, health assistance/prescriptions and safety from domestic violence. Without having their basic needs met, children can’t learn in school, families can’t be financially stable and individuals and families can’t enjoy good health.
Basic needs are defined as:
Housing for the homeless, housing for those escaping domestic violence, and shelter for those who have experienced a natural disaster or fire.
Prepared meal and food distribution to people experiencing food insecurity.
Rent & Utilities
Programs that provide individuals or families with emergency financial assistance for a variety of crisis situations including eviction, foreclosure and utility shut-off notices.
