The United Youth Council (UYC) was established by an award grant from Youth Service America, Youth Venture in Feb. 2006.
The UYC is ran by and made up entirely of youth volunteers from middle and high schools.
As a UYC member, you will;
- Gain experience and leadership skills that will last a lifetime.
- Learn about issues facing youth in your community and work toward elevating them.
- Meet other teens who like you, are committed to helping others in need.
- Express your opinions. Everyone has a voice and is heard.
- Be able to help others and gain real life experiences while earning service learning hours. Even if you have completed the required 75 hours to graduate, set yourself apart from others by going above and beyond.
