To commemorate the past 40 years of service to the community, United Way of Calvert County invites the community to take part in its celebratory event this coming December. On Wednesday, December 16th from 7 to 9 p.m., United Way of Calvert County will host the 40th Anniversary Ruby Telethon, a celebratory fundraiser to be live-streamed through social media platforms. Why "Ruby?" The ruby signifies 40 years, also representing the burning flame of passion United Way of Calvert County has ignited throughout our community with the help of our volunteers and supporters over the years. We are looking for sponsors for this event. UWCC continues to fight for improved education, health and financial stability for all people in Calvert County. Your gift can help us continue to change the odds for our neighbors in need.
